The steering-gear housing comprises a cylinder (1) connected at one end in one piece to a valve housing (10). The cylinder is formed from an extruded profile (1) in which two hydraulic channels (4) are additionally formed, part of the extruded profile 1 being removed at the end facing the valve housing (10) substantially down to a section (8) carrying the hydraulic channels (4). This reduced section is then bent in a direction parallel to the axis of the housing bore (9) of the valve housing (10), and the valve housing is then cast around it as far as the neighbouring cylindrical tubular region (2) of the extruded profile (1). Subsequently connection holes (7, 12) are drilled between the hydraulic channels and the housing bore (9) and the inside of the tubular region (2) respectively. <IMAGE> |
