Car brake disc with two-side friction faces - which have raised regions between marks in disc rotation direction

The brake disc has friction faces on both sides, against which brake pads are compressible. The friction faces (5,6) are partly raised. The raised sections (10) are located between markings (7), which extend in the direction of rotation (11) of the brake disc. The markings are pref. formed as grooves and have a depth (a) corresp. to a max. depth of wear (b) of the brake disc. The markings may consist of letters and/or numbers e.g. maker's name. ADVANTAGE - Easy discernible wear even from outside.
