Apparatus for the reception of microwave signals. With the objective of isolating microwaves with a given polarisation from the incident microwaves collected by means of a parabolic reflector 10, a ferrite polariser 16 is located at the focal point of the reflector. A ferrite body 26 of the polariser extends axially with respect to a waveguide 18 with a convergent reception extremity 28 located outside the waveguide at the focal point and one convergent transmission extremity 30 located within the waveguide. The ferrite body is mounted on one part of the extremity of the waveguide by means of a plastic dielectric coil 32. The coil contains all the ferrite body with the exception of the transmission extremity, which projects beyond the coil in the waveguide. A control coil 36 of the polariser, which creates an axial magnetic field in relation to the ferrite body, is wound around the coil within the portion of the extremity of the waveguide.
