<p>PURPOSE:To correct the count value of a working counter with high accuracy by providing an addition means which adds the value written via software to the present value of the counter and writing the output value of the addition means to the counter as long as the counter is working. CONSTITUTION:The value treated by a writing operation given to a working counter 2 must be corrected. Under such conditions, a switch 3 is closed with switches 13 and 14 opened respectively. Then a writing operation is applied to the counter 2 via software. Thus the data are transferred to a counter buffer 11 via a data bus 4. When the data are written into the buffer 11, an addition circuit 12 adds the contents of the buffer 11, i.e., the value of the counter 2 requiring the correction to the contents, i.e., the present value of the counter 2 and writes again the result of this addition to the counter 2 via the switch 13. Thus the value of the working counter 2 can be corrected with high accuracy.</p> |
