Procedure for obtaining anilide derivatives. A procedure for obtaining anilide derivatives of formula (I), where R is an alkyl radical optionally substituted with halogens, preferably -CF3. The procedure comprises condensing a starting aniline derivative (II) with an anhydride of a suitable acid; performing nitration in the "para" position; hydrolysing the nitro derivative obtained and finally condensing the resultant aniline derivative (V) with isobutyryl chloride. Of the compounds (I) so obtained, the most relevant one is flutamide, which is a known non-steroid antiandrogen used in therapy for the treatment of prostatic hyperplasia and advanced prostatic carcinoma. <IMAGE>
