The process consists in starting with a steel mould 1-2 in which a housing 3 with a cylindrical configuration or any other configuration which is suitable in accordance with the outer anatomy of a second mould is defined, the second mould being made from an elastomeric material, based on two pieces 7-8 which, in their own moulding process and by means of the introduction within the cavity 3 of a pattern-imparting mould 6, configure the cavity corresponding to said article which is obtained in a continuous process, and, subsequently, this elastomeric mould acting with the assistance of a different steel mould holder, as definitive injection mould, whilst the steel mould 1-2 is valid for obtaining other elastomeric moulds 7-8 with different pattern-imparting moulds 6 and for obtaining different types of article made from plastics. <IMAGE>
