An automatic paper feeding device comprising orientation adjusting disks mounted to both sides of the lifting base and operating handles likewise mounted to both sides of the lifting base and adapted to rotate the disks, a lateral direction adjusting disk mounted to one side of the lifting base, and an operating handle likewise mounted to the one side of the lifting base and adapted to rotate the disk, each of the disks being provided at an upper surface thereof with a generally spiral groove cam; orientation adjusting levers and a lateral direction adjusting lever which are mounted to both right and left sides of the lifting base and to one side thereof and which are operated in the forward and backward direction (paper feeding direction) and in the lateral width direction of the lifting base guided by the groove cams in accordance with rotation of the orientation adjusting disks and the lateral direction adjusting disk, each of the levers being provided with a working element projecting from a tip portion thereof; and a laterally elongated orientation adjusting groove long in the lateral width direction of the lifting base and a vertically elongated lateral adjusting groove long in the forward and backward direction of the lifting table, both of which are formed in bottom surface portions of both right and left sides and one side of a paper stack plate, the working elements of the orientation adjust21 ing levers being engaged with the orientation adjusting grooves, the working element of the lateral direction adjusting groove being engaged with the lateral adjusting groove. 22
