The apparatus comprises a hopper mounted on a support plate which is inclined with respect to the horizontal, in order to retain a supply of coins, and a rotary disc supported in a rotary manner on the support plate inside the hopper; the rotary disc has, in the central portion, a central sill with a diameter which depends on the diameter of a coin to be dispensed and has, in the peripheral portion, a plurality of pins, for supplying coins, spaced in the peripheral direction, the peripheral portion of the rotary disc being provided with a plurality of inclined grooves, each one of which extends substantially in a direction tangential to the periphery of the central sill between the sequential supply pins, and at least one of the grooves is lined with a friction material such as rubber. <IMAGE> |
