摘要 The virtual rotation/motion type sensor consists of a mainly close arrangement of primary alternating field generating coils and several individual sensors. Several sensors of equal magnetic field sensitivity are arranged to form an open or closed chain, ring, circle or star enabling absolute or differential magnetic field measurement by one sensor segment. The segment are successively electronically scanned by processing electronics and the measured vaoltages placed in sequence, corrected, rectified, limit checked and displayed. USE/ADVANTAGE - For non-destructive material testing. Limitations of conventional systems are overcome, e.g. enabling internal testing of small pipes.
