PURPOSE:To form the rotor for the superconducting rotary electric machine having excellent reliability by burying a plurality of conductive bars extending in the shaft direction to a cylindrical damper support as a reinforcing member, short-circuiting both end sections of these conductive bars by conductive rings and forming a damper. CONSTITUTION:Superconducting field winding 2 is fixed onto a torque tube 3 by means of a binder 4. The non-magnetic support 7 as the reinforcing member is arranged concentrically at the outside diameter side through a vacuum layer 12 from the binder 4 while the damper bars 14 driven, inserted and buried into dovetail grooves 13 shaped to an outer circumferential section of the non- magnetic support 7. On the other hand, the damper rings 15 short-circuiting the damper bars 14 are disposed at the outside diameter sides of both end sections of the damper bars 14. Retaining rings 16 are fitted and arranged at the outside diameter sides of the damper rings 15. |
