PURPOSE:To enable to simply and readily prepare a rubber-ceramic composite material having a ceramic particle volume rate of >=50%, having excellent abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance and having flexibility by subjecting rubber particles and ceramic particles to a mixing process, a molding process and subsequently a melt-curing process. CONSTITUTION:A powdery or fine particular rubber material is mixed with ceramic particles in a prescribed ratio. The mixture is charged to a mold and subsequently heated and pressed to melt and cure the rubber material particles for the preparation of a rubber-ceramic composite material.
