Beacon and signalling system. This system is based on light indicators which operate by picking up a signal of luminous or similar type transmitted through the surrounding medium from a sending lamp 1, each light indicator consisting of a light-pickup cell 2, provided with a signal-receiving input 3 and a signal-concentrating unit 6, an electronics assembly 5 also being included in it, provided with energy sensitisation and processing means, which, by means of the combination of the signal transmitted from the lamp 1 and the additional surrounding energy which strikes the cell 2, is capable of emitting light which serves for the signalling, the brightness of the emission from the lamp 1 being regulated by the demand required by the cell 2 by means of a return communication through a regulator 9 which is set up between the two. <IMAGE>
