<p>The invention provides an improved shotgun barrel (10) which includes a plurality of lands (14), for example, six, which reduce spin or rotation of the wad and hence reduce the dispersion or spread of the associated shotgun pellets. The lands are formed by depositing a material, for example, chrome, onto the barrel's internal surface (12).
