A golf tee comprises first and second generally rectangular plastic plates (10, 12), which have concave slides (14, 16, 18, 20) and which slot together, at an angle of intersection other than 90 DEG , to define the tee. The assembled tee can be used in three different orientations giving three different heights (or in the case where the angle of intersection is 90 DEG , two different heights). In each orientation, the concave sides define generally cup-shaped ball-supporting surfaces. The plates may be triangular.

|
