PURPOSE:To draw a color image containing the half tone, by arraying plural ink jetting heads which jet different color inks in the subscanning direction. CONSTITUTION:A digital color scanner 1 scans each part of a color original image 11 in a two-dimensional way, measures the reflective concentration of color to each part of the original picture and converts the concentration into the digital signals through an A/D converter 24. A 3-color density signal plus the position signals supplied from counters 12 and 23 are supplied to a CPU27, and the 3-color density signal is written into a memory cell 28a. A head driving circuit 30 converts the density signal into the head application signal. An ink jet printer 3 sticks the ink drops jetted from the head part 34 onto the white paper 33 rolled on a rotary cylinder 32 to reproduce a color image. |
