SUPERSONIC TRANSDUCER ASSEMBLY AND ITS MANUFACTURE

PURPOSE: To hold and increase all advantages such as reliability, durability, and safety of operation by attaching an electric connector to ultrasonic transducers by use of conductive transmission tapes attached to a thin layer of conductive metal where the conductive pads of a flexible circuit are fitted to both sides of each ultrasonic transducer. CONSTITUTION: The disk-shaped part of a conductive transmission tape 872 is placed between a conductive pads 828 and the other side (front) of an ultrasonic transducer 866. The disk-shaped part of a conductive transmission tape 874 is placed between a conductive pad 830 and one side (front) of an ultrasonic transducer 868. The disc-shaped part of a conductive transmission tape 876 is placed between a conductive pad 832 and the other side (rear) of the ultrasonic transducer 868. The ultrasonic transducers 866, 868 are thus assembled into a flexible circuit 824 and electrically connected.
