<p>The invention refers to a method/test bench designed to check the reliability of the spring mechanisms used by switches in the field of electrical engineering and power engineering.The test bench can independently operate the spring mechanism using a command logic with switches and timer relays, or a PC using a software written in BASIC programming language. The original element of this method is the fact that the spring mechanisms are subject to a cycle of user-defined on/off switchings and, simultaneously, at user-defined time intervals, an automatic reset is triggered.The invention has the advantage of an automatic checking process (no personnel needed), a high quality level, and of the fact that the simulation of the cycles sustained by the spring mechanisms is very close to the real sequences.</p> |
