<p>PURPOSE:To visually confirm the temperature and volume of spout water by providing a means to detect properties of water such as the temperature, volume and pressure, etc., of the water and a luminous means to apply light to the inside of a discharge channel in accordance with the detected properties. CONSTITUTION:A base plate 8 on which a controlling circuit and an LED 7 are mounted is provided to a control chamber 6 held to a faucet 1 as a unit and, at the same time, a sensor 9 for detecting the volume, temperature, pres sure, pH or hardness, etc. of the water inside a spout channel 3 is provided, and it is connected to the base plate 8 through a lead wire 10. Optical fibers 11 and 12 facing to the LED 7 and one end are so arranged to the inside of the faucet 1 that the other end sections 11A and 12A are positioned around a spout port. For example, when the detected temperature is in excess of a specific temperature, the LED 7 turns on a light, colored lights are applied to the spout water from the spout port 4 through the optical fibers 11 and 12, and it is visually confirmed that the temperature of the spout water is in excess of a specific temperature.</p> |
