The television receiver (4) is fitted to the tip of the rotary mechanism (10). The television receiver (4) is supported in a posture of use by the rotary mechanism (10) and is housed inside the recess (2) when not in use. This arm rest can be adapted to not only an airplane but also various vehicles such as railway cars, buses and other automobiles.
