A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprises at least one silver halide emulsion layer containing a silver halide emulsion subjected to chemical sensitized by a gold compound and a chalcogenide compound on a support. An amount of hydrogen cyanide released from 1 m<2> of the light-sensitive material in in a wet atmosphere at 75 DEG C for two hours is 0.8 mu m, or less, and the light-sensitive material is sealed in a closed vessel capable of maintaining a relative humidity constant.
