Antibody composition for actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans and its use in diagnostics.

A polyclonal composition is useful for the immunological detection of all three serotypes (A, B and C) of Actinobacillus actinomycetemcomitans. This composition consists essentially of a polyclonal antibody directed to an antigen of serotype A, and a second polyclonal antibody directed to an antigen of serotype B. These two antibodies can be used consistently to detect all three serotypes of this microorganism. The antibody composition can be affixed to a microporous substrate for use in assays. It can also be provided as a buffered solution. <IMAGE>
