<p>Until now, an additional plug, besides a stabiliser, has been necessary in a device of this type. Furthermore, differing internal diameters often cannot be bridged with the expansion range of the stabiliser. In order to obtain simple sealing in addition to vibration-free stabilisation, a rod (8) is provided which is equipped with two cam plates (12, 12a) at an axial distance apart. An expanding sleeve (14, 14a) overlaps each cam plate. After the expanding sleeve is pressed against the inner wall of the tube (5) by a relative rotation of the rod (8), the sleeve-shaped end of the rod (8) is rolled or welded in the tube plate (2).
