PURPOSE: To produce panels without requiring a preliminary process for producing a premix of a polymer and a thermosensitive filler by feeding the thermoplastic polymer and the thermosensitive filler into an integral mixing and extruding space comprising elongated elements. CONSTITUTION: An integral mixing and extruding space has four extrusion zones 41-44 and three intermediate non-feeding kneading zones 45-47, the extrusion zones and the kneading zones being formed with elements 48, 49 which co-rotate by shafts 401, 403 actuated by a drive means 402. High tenacity, high melting polymer such as polypropylene is introduced into a helical extrusion section 41 via a first opening 410 while the thermosensitive filler is introduced into a helical extrusion section 42 via a second opening 420. The mixture of the polymer and the filler is homogenized in the helical extrusion section 42 and the non-feeding kneading section 46. A further helical extrusion section 43 follows for introduction of the filler, such as short fibers of mineral glass or the like, via an opening 430. On the other hand, a venting means 440 is connected with the last helical extrusion section 44 nearest the extrusion end (EE) of a chamber 40. |
