<p>Compositions for formed frequency record carriers, particularly sound and video recordings, comprise (1) from 40 to 94% by weight of a copolymer of vinyl chloride with from 3 to 40% by weight of vinyl acetate; and (2) from 6 to 60% by weight of (a) one or more than one copolymer of vinyl chloride with from 1 to 20% by weight of an olefin of up to 10 carbon atoms or (b) polyvinylchloride having a k value of from 58 to 68, or (c) a mixture of (a) and (b) as defined above. The olefin may be propylene, isobutylene or 2-ethylhexene-1.</p>
