PURPOSE:To attain double polarized wave transmission with high quality even when cross polarized wave interference due to fading or the like is increased by using a cross polarized wave interference elimination device to eliminate the cross polarized wave interference component incorporated in a reception signal. CONSTITUTION:Cross polarized wave interference eliminating devices 105, 205 are provided, which receive the outputs of receivers 103, 203 to eliminate the interference component from the different polarized wave caused in the propagation line. Each tap output of a delay circuit with the tap of the cross polarized wave interference eliminating devices 105, 205 is weighted respectively and synthesized and the result is outputted as a cross polarized wave interference elimination signal. The cross polarized wave interference elimination signal is synthesized from signals from the receivers 103, 203 respectively and the signal from which the cross polarized wave interference component is eliminated is outputted to demodulators 104, 204. Thus, even when cross polarized wave interference is increased due to fading or the like, the quality of the demodulation signal is not degraded. |
