PURPOSE:To uninformize the quality of formed sheet in its width direction W by providing an agitating means able to rotate in the same direction as that of a calender roll of low speed among calender rolls close to the inner side surface of a stock guide plate. CONSTITUTION:Plastic raw material M fed into a bank 5 is kneaded, while being rotated, in a direction of an arrow D2 due to the difference in circumferential speeds, because the relationship between circumferential speeds V3, V4 of calender rolls 3, 4 is V3<V4. And hence the material M is delivered from between the rolls 3, 4 in the form of sheet. When an air motor 18 is operated, an agitating cone 25 is rotated in a direction of rotation of the calender roll 3 of low speed through a flexible shaft 21, bevel gears 26, 27 and horizontal shaft 22, so that the plastic raw material M in contact with and in the vicinity of a stock guide plate 9 is forcibly rotated by the cone 25 in a direction of the arrow D2. As a result, formed sheet 16 has a uniform quality in its width direction, so that products of excellent quality can be obtained. |
