IMMERSION-TYPE, FLOW-TYPE AND ACCESSORY- TYPE ELECTRODE HOLDERS FOR MEASURING SYSTEM IN ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY

PURPOSE: To design the region of the stopcock of an electrode holder by opening the plug of the stopcock to one side within the region of the passing groove thereof to support an inner pipe having a measuring probe in axially sliding relation. CONSTITUTION: A measuring system is regulated to the central hole 14 of an inner pipe and formed as a single part having the extension parts 12a provided on both sides of the inner pipe 12. The measuring system may be the glass tip of a pH electrode or any other type measuring probe and has a slightly protruding tip 15. The lower end of the outer pipe 11 forming a cylinder has a stopcock 16 but the inner and outer pipes 11, 12 form the kinds of a piston and a cylinder unit in order to make the relative axial movement of the inner pipe 12 certain together with the measuring probe. The lower extension part 12a of the inner pipe 12 is passed through the central passing hole or passing groove 20 of a cylinder plug 18 so that the measuring system occupies at its lower end position along with the measuring probe. The groove 20 through which the extension part of the inner pipe is passed together with the shaft of the measuring probe is opened on a single side 21.
