<p>PURPOSE:To easily set a desired position on three-dimensional coordinates by setting the inclination of a plane passing a cursor based on the cursor displayed on the screen of a picture display device at present by a first input means and designating a position different from the cursor position by a second input means thereafter. CONSTITUTION:An input means 1 is provided with a first input means (track ball) 6 which can rotate a virtual plane including the cursor based on the cursor displayed on the screen of a display device 5 and can set a desired virtual plane and a second input means (mouse) 7 which can move the cursor in the desired virtual plane and can set a desired position. That is, the virtual plane including the cursor is rotated based on the cursor displayed on the screen by the first input means 6 to take a desired point into the virtual plane. Next, the second input means 7 is operated to move the cursor from the reference position to a desired position in this virtual plane. Thus, the desired point in the three-dimensional space is designated.</p> |
