PURPOSE:To easily display a necessary map by voicing various operation command for the setting of a starting point and destination, etc. CONSTITUTION:The device is provided with a voice recognition means 22 which decides operation command voices required to display a map and a voice data storage means 23 stored with words to be recognized by the voice recognition means 22 by display areas. Then a map display means 4 alters voice data supplied from the voice data storage means 3 to the voice recognition means 22 into data of another area associatively with a change in display area on a map display means 4 to obtain words to be recognized corresponding to the area. Therefore, operation commands required to display the map can be voiced. Consequently, various operations for the setting of a coordinate position, etc., are easily performed. |
