Connection between two tube ends (1, 2), including a tightening sleeve (5) which straddles the two tube ends and is in active connection on the one side with an annular locking body (10) which comes into positive engagement with one tube end (1) preferably exhibiting shaping such as circular waves with trapezoidal section. On the other side, the tightening sleeve may interact either with another locking body located symmetrically or with a sleeve-shaped flared part (3) of the other tube (2). A sealing ring (11) is preferably compressed in the tightening sleeve (5). The tubes may be cut to length on site. <IMAGE>
