PURPOSE:To conduct the test of a picture information processing unit in a simple way by providing a non-conducting mode controlling a write speed and a read speed to/from a line memory in an identical speed. CONSTITUTION:A selector 6 is operated by a mode signal from a non-converting mode module 9 so as to select alternately a content of a memory 5A and a content of a memory 5B. Then output original picture information SPiX-out having a line number the same as a line number input original picture information SPiX-in is outputted. Thus, so long as a picture information processing unit 1 is operative at all times, a facsimile signal CPiX-in to be converted and a facsimile signal CPiX-out being the result of conversion are brought into the identical signal. Then the normality of the operation of the unit 1 is tested. |
