PURPOSE:To obtain a high density recording image even with low energy by adding a specific thermally fusible material into a recording layer. CONSTITUTION:In a heat sensitive recording body in which a heat sensitive recording layer, containing a colorless or fainly colored basic dye and a color developer contacting with the dye to develop color, is provided on a support, 1-(4-methoxyphenoxy)-2-(2-methylphenoxy)ethane is added into the heat sensitive recording layer. Amount of use is preferably regulated within a range of 10-700 pts.wt. for 100 pts.wt. of basic dye. Heat sensitive body, thus obtained, has coloring property especially excellent in low energy region, high whiteness in the recording layer, and excellent property in viewpoint of adhesion of chips to the recording head. |
