PURPOSE:To output a succeeding sound element immediately after the silencing processing without outputting up to the last sound element of a voice message during output by providing a silencing processing data memory means and a silencing level transit means or the like. CONSTITUTION:When a voice message A is switched into a voice message B and it is outputted, a control circuit 6 receiving a stop command from a host controller 15 controls a silencing processing data selection circuit 4 and a sound element/silencing processing data selection circuit 5 to interrupt the sound element 1 of the message A in the output on its way. Then the circuit 6 outputs a silencing data stored in a storage area +96 corresponding to a reproduced level 96 from a silencing processing data memory 2 via the circuit 4 based on the reproduction level +96 at the interruption of the output of the sound element 1 outputted from an adder circuit 9. Thus, when the reproduction value 13 transits from a reproduction level 96 to a silence level 0 and the output of the data from the memory 2 is finished, the circuit 6 controls a sound element selection circuit 3 and the circuit 5 to start the output of the sound element 3 being the initial sound element of the message B thereby switching the messages smoothly. |
