A method for manufacturing a composite material involving intimately and homogenously mixing at least two constituents, characterized in that said mixture is vibrated in a container at a frequency which is close to the mean resonance frequency of each of the constituents or of the container in order to degas the constituents before binding them so that the resulting composite material has a substantially airless, compact and dense structure.
