Supply circuit intended for supplying a magnetron (1) and comprising a step-up transformer (8) having high leakage inductance, the primary (13) of which is mounted in series with a switching element (14) intended to chop the said voltage, and the secondary (19) of which is intended to be connected to the load (1). According to the invention, the circuit furthermore includes a self-induction coil (inductor) (17) mounted in series with the primary of the transformer (8), as well as a capacitor (18) connected in parallel to the primary, and in that the switching element consists of a unidirectional current switch (14), and the secondary of the transformer (8) is directly connected to the load (1).
