PURPOSE:To reduce a pinhole and to prevent interlaminar release or the deterioration or deformation of a resin by providing a compound based on two or more kinds of oxide, sulfide, selenoid or nitride having different melting points as a protective layer so as to be adjacent to a data recording membrane. CONSTITUTION:A membrane 2 composed of a composition near to ZrSiO4 based on oxide, sulfide, selenide or nitride is laminated to a substrate 1 having a guide groove as a protective layer. Next, an Sn-Sb-Te type data recording membrane 3 receiving the irradiation with recording beam to generate an atomic arrangement change almost bringing about no deformation is formed and an intermediate layer 4 composed of oxide having a composition near to ZrSiO4 is laminated to the membrane 3. Further, an Au membrane is laminated as a membrane 5 based on a metal element and a resin 6 is subsequently used to be exposed to ultraviolet rays for about 2 min to laminate the membrane 5 based on the metal element and a protective layer 7. Next, the data recording membrane 3 is irradiated with laser beam on the side of the substrate 1 to record data. |
