PURPOSE:To suppress an increase in circuit scale and prevent an expensive circuit by connecting the outputs of sampling delay circuits arranged in line by wired OR connection, and inputting the outputs to an adding machine. CONSTITUTION:Echo signals received by an oscillator E1 undergo time delay processing in systems of sampling delay circuit D11 and D12, respectively, and these outputs are added and averaged by wired OR connection. In other channels (oscillators E2-En), the same processing is conducted, and respective echo signal 51'-Sn' are added in an adding machine to form an ultrasonic beam. Hence, the switch for selectively changing the outputs of sampling delay circuits and the control circuit for controlling this are eliminated, and increases in circuit scale and price can be suppressed to the utmost. |
