发明名称 OXIDE SUPERCONDUCTIVE WIRE-ROD MANUFACTURE
摘要 PURPOSE:To improve the critical current density (Jc) of a wirerod by applying laser beams to a rod made of an oxide superconductor and in the vicinity of a contact of an oxide system crystal provided in contact with the extreme end of the rod to melt the oxide superconductor so as to separate the crystal from the rod while causing the flow of a current through the wire rod. CONSTITUTION:An oxide system crystal 7 is provided in contact with the extreme end portion 5 of a rod 1, and then CO2 laser beams 10 are applied in the vicinity of the extreme end portion 5 to be melted. The crystal 7 is separated from the extreme end portion 5 while applying the laser beams so that a superconductive material is drawn out from the rod 1 to form a wire rod 9. During this process, a holder 3 and the crystal 7 are used respectively as terminals to cause the flow of a current through the wire rod 9. The flow of the current through the wire rod 9 in the process of recrystallizing it in this manner can align the C crystal axis plane thereof along this flow of the current to improve the critical current density Jc thereof.
