The invention relates to a device for producing electric current without a time-based endurance limit; this device can be portable or fixed. The device represented in Figure 1 includes an electric motor (1) having a non-specified size, which is different according to the desired power; this motor is coupled to a generator (2) having a current output for the user (3) and having a second output (4) serving to supply the electric motor (1), the regulator (5) serving to maintain the correct speed of the motor (1) as well as the level of charge of the battery (8), the motor driving the generator via the rotating shaft (9), the regulator (5) being linked to the electric motor by the circuit (6), as well as the circuit (7), linking the battery (8). The device is most particularly intended to operate in closed premises since it is characterised by not releasing gas polluting the atmosphere and in creating only a little noise during operation by virtue of its electric motor. <IMAGE>
