PURPOSE:To completely conduct shielding treatment without enlarging a receiving case by forming the wall part of a case for receiving a probe body formed of nonconductor in two layers, and sandwiching a shielding conductor between two-layered wall parts to integrate them. CONSTITUTION:A case 20 for receiving a probe body 1 consisting of a non-conductor such as resin is formed of two-layered wall parts 21, 22, and a shielding conductor 23 consisting of copper foil is sandwiched between these two-layered wall parts 21, 22 and integrated therewith. The use of such a shield case 20 dispenses with a shield plate separate from the case as in conventional ultrasonic probes and provides a compact form, and also as the probe body 1 is completely shielded by the shielding conductor 23 without leaving any space, perfect shield can be enhanced. |
