<p>PURPOSE: To prevent the initial failure of an inner ring by forming the inner ring of a rolling bearing of a bevel pinion by a cap-shaped element, and bringing a bottom part of the cap-shaped element into contact with an end face of an input shaft when the inner ring is engaged with an input shaft. CONSTITUTION: A bevel pinion comprises a shaft 13, and a recessed portion 14 is formed on its outer periphery when the teeth of the bevel pinion is cut. The shaft 13 is supported by a rolling bearing 26 of an opening of an inner wall 1' of a housing 1. The rolling bearing 26 comprises an outer ring 15, an inner ring 16' and a roller 25, and the inner ring 16' is formed by a cylindrical part of the cap-shaped element 16 having a bottom portion 16". The cap-shaped element 16 is fixed to an end face of the shaft 13 by a bolt 17. Whereby the cap-shaped element can be firmly mounted on the shaft 13 without deformed, and its failure can be prevented.</p> |
