It includes two parts, a rear part (2) composed of a platform (20) mounted on two wheels (21) and (22) and acting as a support for a work station consisting of a counter (26) where crates may be located intended to receive the sorted fruit, and a tractive and guiding front part (3) consisting of a chassis (30) which supports batteries (32) powering a motor (33) which actuates a tractive wheel (31) and a horizontal circular turntable (34) located above the motor (33) and used to receive the fruit which has been gathered for the purpose of being sorted, the chassis (30) being mounted so that it can pivot about a vertical spindle (36) secured to bars (28) which, on the other hand, are secured to the uprights (27) of the rear part (2), allowing the chassis (30) to pivot for the purpose of steering the whole device. <IMAGE>
