The rotary plunger-pump has suction and delivery branches (5,6) on opposite walls of the cylindrical housing (1), containing a rotor (2) with chambers (9) open to the housing wall or the branches. The volume of these chambers decreases on the way from the suction to the delivery branch and increasing on the way back. The chambers in the annular rotor are formed by radial bores (3) and the outer end faces of plungers (4) sliding in them. Inside and eccentric to the rotor is a cylindrical control body (7). As the rotor turns, the radial positions of the plungers in the bores are determined by the gap between the body and the rotor. ADVANTAGE - High operating frequency and no valves and can handle gas or liquid.
