<p>This invention relates to compounds having: (A) a bisphosphonic acid endgroup; (B) an azetidine- or hexamethylenimine-derived azacyclic endgroup; and (C) an alkyl and/or aryl group linking the bisphosphonic acid and azacyclic groups through the nitrogen atom of the azacyclic group. These compounds are useful as agents for regulating the metabolism of polyvalent ions, particularly calcium. This invention relates also to pharmaceutical compositions including said compounds and to methods of treating conditions for which said metabolism is involved by using said compounds.</p> |
