Current supply for injection injection installation of IC engine - uses generator driven by shaft of injection pump

The power supply is for an injection unit composed of a pump with engine-powered shaft plus an adjuster controlled by an electronic regulator. The supply generator (2) is driven by the pump (1) shaft (5). Pref. the generator acts as a stand-by supply should the main supply fail, and pump and generator are in a common housing. USE/ADVANTAGE - Motor vehicle fuel injection. Generator, pump and regulator in close proximity for easier wiring and retrofitting without requiring extra space.
