<p>An improved double-wall hydraulic cylinder assembly for positioning a trim tab on a boat. The device has an axially-extending neck (15) which supports outer and inner tubular walls (19, 21) and has first and second passages (63, 65) for providing fluid communication between the cylinder and a remote control unit. The cylinder (10) is configured for use with a mounting plate (11) of the type with a pair of spaced, outwardly-extending hollow lugs (133, 135). The neck allows the cylinder to be installed to or removed from the lugs for service without disturbing the position of the mounting plate or lugs.</p> |
