The tennis ball container has a cylindrical body (1) with a lid (2), which has an attached piston (4) with a groove for a sealing ring (3), as a seal between the inside surface of the container and the piston. The tennis balls are placed in the container and the lid is then fitted so that the piston can compress the air in the container . A bayonet fitting (5,6) then holds the piston in its final position so that the air in the container remains compressed.
