The machine for the continuous manufacture of polyurethane foam boards covered with covering layers (7, 8), having two endless conveyor belts (1 and 2), bounding between them a mould cavity (5), and having a mixing head (6) oscillating transversely with respect to the direction of production, is provided with induction heaters (10 and 11) for the conveyor belts (1 and 2) of electrically and magnetically conducting material and, if appropriate, with further induction heaters (12, 13) for the covering layers (7, 8) of electrically and magnetically conducting material. These induction heaters provide a very economically (high efficiency) operating heating means which can be controlled very accurately, so that an accurate apportioning of heat in adaptation to production conditions is possible. A precise running-up of the installation is possible.
