The exposure appts. covers the plate table from above outside the masked plate subject. The subject mask (11) has a frame (12) of length adjustable legs (15) which is divided up into compartments approp. to its size to form an opaque covering (13) for the subject. The frame legs have an underside rubber lip (16) and the frame presents a truncated pyramid form which is filled out with foam plastics light-absorbing balls (14) which can be suctioned (17) off to a bin. USE/ADVANTAGE - Offset printing plate exposure. Mask frame can be adapted in quick time to subject area using foam plastics light absorbing balls to protect plate surface in user-friendly design.
