The device for fitting a boot onto a ski has a longitudinal support plate (5) fixed on the ski and supporting at least one of the two ski bindings (3,4) whilst a support element (13) is inserted between the intermediate support plate and the top side of the ski. This plate (5) rests freely on the support element (13) which in turn is mounted so that it is displaceable longitudinally under the intermediate support plate and is fixable in an adjustable longitudinal position. The dimensions of the support element in the longitudinal direction of the ski is less than the dimensions of the plate (5). The support plate can bear both ski bindings (3,4). USE/ADVANTAGE - The support points for the boot on the ski can be varied.
